Terms of Service

EduMatchLB is a technology platform that helps students, parents, tutors, and tutoring offices discover each other, create profiles, submit applications, exchange messages, and manage certain account workflows.

EduMatchLB is not a school, tutoring agency, employment agency, guarantor of academic outcomes, or insurer of user conduct. Tutors and offices use the platform as independent users, not as employees or agents of EduMatchLB merely because they appear on the platform.

You may only use EduMatchLB if you can lawfully enter into this agreement. By creating an account or using the platform, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you meet the applicable age rules.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity that occurs under your account, except where applicable law says otherwise. You must keep your information current and accurate.

Tutor and office listings, badges, application reviews, document checks, approval status, and listing visibility are managed by EduMatchLB in its discretion.

Submitting an application or document does not guarantee approval, publication, ranking, visibility, student inquiries, revenue, or continued access to the platform.

You may use EduMatchLB only for lawful, legitimate platform activity. You must not use the platform in a way that harms other users, undermines trust, or creates legal or operational risk for EduMatchLB.

You keep ownership of the content and documents you submit, but you grant EduMatchLB a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, review, process, display, reproduce, and use that material as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, moderate, improve, and enforce the platform.

That includes profile content, reviews, messages, application information, verification documents, office materials, photos, and AI-related uploads where applicable.

EduMatchLB may provide in-platform chat, notifications, direct contact details, and redirection to external communication tools such as WhatsApp. Once users connect, their conduct, arrangements, scheduling, payments, and decisions remain their own responsibility.

EduMatchLB is not responsible for off-platform communications, tutoring sessions, cancellations, disputes, misconduct, or outcomes arising from user interactions.

EduMatchLB may allow reviews, ratings, and public feedback. Reviews should reflect genuine experience and must not be false, abusive, extortionate, or unlawful.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to block honest reviews, but EduMatchLB may moderate or remove reviews that contain personal data of others, confidential information, unlawful content, or content that is clearly unrelated to the actual service experience.

EduMatchLB may offer AI-assisted tools, including report-card review and student-facing summaries. These outputs are generated automatically and may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate.

AI outputs are provided for general informational support only. They are not professional educational, psychological, legal, medical, or safeguarding advice, and they should not be used as the sole basis for important decisions.

Some parts of EduMatchLB may be free, while others may be tied to a paid plan, subscription, premium listing, or promotional placement. Where a paid offering exists, the pricing and billing details shown at the point of purchase control.

Unless EduMatchLB states otherwise in writing, fees paid to EduMatchLB are non-refundable and may change prospectively.

The EduMatchLB platform, including its software, code, interface design, branding, page layouts, copy, graphics, prompts, workflows, and non-user materials, belongs to EduMatchLB or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, trade secret, and related laws.

Your use of the platform gives you a limited right to access and use it for its intended purpose. It does not transfer ownership of any platform intellectual property to you.

EduMatchLB may suspend, restrict, remove, or terminate an account, listing, feature, role, or piece of content at any time where we reasonably believe it is necessary for trust and safety, fraud prevention, policy enforcement, legal compliance, operational integrity, or legitimate business reasons.

You may stop using the platform at any time. Termination does not affect rights or obligations that arose before termination.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EduMatchLB is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not promise uninterrupted access, perfect accuracy, or that the platform will always be free from bugs, downtime, or security incidents.

EduMatchLB does not guarantee tutor quality, office quality, user behavior, identity accuracy, response times, learning outcomes, grade improvement, exam results, admissions results, or any particular commercial or educational outcome.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EduMatchLB and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, revenue, goodwill, opportunity, or profits arising out of or related to the platform.

Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, our total aggregate liability for a claim related to the platform will be limited to the amount you paid directly to EduMatchLB in the 12 months before the claim arose, or USD 100, whichever is greater.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Lebanon, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply in your place of residence. If a dispute arises, we ask that you contact us first so we can try to resolve it in good faith before formal action is taken.
